Großer Name, teurer Bildband mit einer handvoll Schwarz-Weiß-Aufnahmen. Sehr enttäuschende Bildinszenierung, ohne Spannung. Dass es um die letzten 15 Jahre des Fotografen geht sieht man leider an dem Style der Modelle. Unschön und wenig reizvoll. Besser ein “Playboy”-Abo kaufen. Gesehen – Abgelegt.
Fine Nude Art ist dieser Bildband von Manfred Baumann. Dieses Buch zeugt von hoher Qualität; das Papier und der Einband sind sehr gut. Die Aufnahmen haben mich nicht wirklich berührt. Sie sind für Insider vielleicht von besonderem künstlerischen Wert, mich jedoch haben nur drei Schwarz-weiss-Aufnahmen wirklich angesprochen; nur bei diesen konnte ich auf Anhieb sagen: “Oh, diese Aufnahme ist aber sehr gut gelungen.”. Diese Fotos spielen sehr gut mit Licht und Schatten. Die meisten Farb-Aufnahmen hingegen wirken aufdringlich. Es gibt bei diesen nur wenige Ausnahmen. Ich muss sagen, dass ich hier etwas anderes erwartet hätte (natürlich keine Aufnahmen á la Playboy, aber einfach ansprechendere und auch humorvolle Aufnahmen). Sicher, bei einigen wenigen kann man seine Fantasie spielen lassen, aber das sind eher die Ausnahmen. Ich war ehrlich gesagt enttäuscht von diesem zwar qualitativ gut gemachten Bildband, aber von den Aufnahmen hätte ich mir mehr versprochen. Gerade von diesem bekannten Fotografen. Als positiv muss ich die Schilderung der eingesetzten Techniken bei einigen ausgewählten Aufnahmen am Schluss des Buches erwähnen.
Titel für dieses Schmuckstück von einem Fotobuch, was wirklich in keiner Sammlung fehlen sollte. Auf ca. 160 Seiten im Format 28 x 24 cm präsentiert Manfred Naumann sein großes photografisches Schaffen der letzten 15 Jahre, und da möchte man gerne dabei gewesen sein: Frische, freche, symphatische Akte von ausnahmlos wunderschönen Models, ein wahrer Augenschmaus in Farbe und SW!
Zu Beginn des Buches stellt sich der Fotograf vor und zeigt uns einige Making-Of-Fotos einiger Sessions, die dann doch den Aufwand einer Produktion erahnen lassen. Für den fotografischen Nachahmer werden am Schluss noch die Beleuchtungssituation einiger Bilder mittels Skizzen beschrieben. Schön!
